Floats, AGAIN?!??!?!??!

As you may remember, I just did the floats on my HIF4s and resolved my fuel overflow from the canister problem. Things were great for a few days (even got the SUs tuned; thanks for all the tips you've posted over time!) Well, I got out to the car this morning with the intention of driving it to work and sure enough the fuel overflow problem was back. I just took the carbs off the car this evening and took a look; the front float is filled with fuel again! The two best causes of the problem I can come up with are:

1) a defective float (going to Moss tomorrow for an exchange). I find this unlikely since I had a problem with old floats in the last few weeks as well.
2) too much fuel pump pressure. The thing is, the pump has been on the car since I got it and I didn't have any problems until recently. I'd figure that the new floats would last for a while before failing under pressure, but I guess I could be wrong.

Any ideas? I'm *incredibly* frustrated. It was between 70F-75F all week and I didn't get to drive the car at all. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Fuel pump will not create enough pressure to fill a float. It's a defective leaky float. Floats shouldn't leak or absorb any fuel at all.

I'm gonna throw this out and it can fall in whatever direction it may:* Get yer MONEY back from Moss, get yer FLOATS from Joe Curto.... It could be I'm all wet, but if so I'll stick to the seat easier.

*Just my opinion!!!
