After the redo on the CGT, I was dying to take it for a spin. Got the insurance re-instated, went to the local MVD...I'd rather take a beating...and got the car all legal again. I was driving my Corvette back to the shop to get the C when a guy pulled up next to me and asked if the Vette was for sale....SURE...he said he'd be by today. If so theres the mad money to do the C roadster:>..anyhow, I was actually nervous pulling the GT out of the fence, but as soon as it warmed up and I pressed the throttle a bit, I was as excited as the day I bought it twenty years earlier. Closed the shop, went home and waited for the wife to get home. We loaded up and went out and was pleased when she noticed the new car smell(without the payments) and even commented on the sound of the engine. My daughter and her kids as well as my son and his family met us for dinner and all commented on great it looked. I guess all the hard work was worth it.
