Although there are a few scam warnings on this forum, I haven't come across this one, so here it is.
While browsing Healey listings online, I came across this 100M:
https://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-page/170481/1956-austin-healey-100m/
A very restorable 100M for $7000, in Indonesia..... To me it screamed SCAM! That said, stranger things have happened, and I thought an email costs nothing, so why not ask a couple of questions? I sent a general enquiry, and very quickly received a reply with more photos, including a BMIHT certificate (issued in 2001 to William D Samuelson, the previous owner) and a copy of the Indonesian title. I replied asking for contact details of the previous owner, and a photo of the car with a recent newspaper, to prove the car was with the advertiser.
The response was that the previous owner had died 6 years ago, and that I could come to view the car at any time! I once again asked for a photo with a recent newspaper. No reply.
I then emailed Bill Meade at the 100M registry. He very quickly replied, telling me the ad was indeed a scam, and the car belongs to a member in Texas. He also told me that "the guy advertising this car is in Canada but he will send you an Indonesian title and ask for $1,000 deposit , then you never hear from him again. He stole all the cars info and photos from the internet when it was sold a couple of years ago. Who knows how many people he has stolen $1,000 from."
As the old saying goes "If it sounds too good to be true....."
