Randy is correct, pink is the original color of the seating. The backstory of this car is quite interesting. Al bought it from noted 100S collector Bill Wood, neither one knowing at the time what its provenance was. The interior had been re-dyed, but Al found a piece of hardura in the car that was pink and that set off the search to discover its history. It's amusing to read comments about whether any part of this restoration was "incorrect". Al researched this car carefully with the help of Roger Moment and others. And as far as his execution of the restoration goes, "Alan" could well be an anagram for another word that would describe his attention to detail. In fact, he was counting stitches per inch on the upholstery.
