Thank you Kimberly. Sage advice. There is a point at which as much information as you can avail yourself of is the only thing to rely on. Brakes, their operation and maintenance is at that point. Those who've done this for YEARS as routine (I include myself here) tend to accept that it's 'simple' and perhaps don't impart the necessity to KNOW what's actually going on in a hydraulic system before jumping in and trying to effect a repair. IOW (In Other Words), get the info and digest it. Look at the car and identify the components, then when you've a clear 'cause/effect' picture we'll all be on the "same page." My SOLE reason for the diatribe is: It don't matter how FAST a car is, if'n it can't STOP fast too. Brakes is safety bits. Your well-being is the priority here.
