I bid on an original badge like the one that's on this car. Still did not win the auction with a bid of $800 dollars! From what I found out, there were only 6 Bugeye's that had that badge from the factory. Not sure if this badge is original as I believe the Supercharged is a script writing. The supercharger does take a bid of maintenance and is not practical for a daily driver. It puts a lot of back pressure in the engine, which forces oil out of it (it marks it's territory) and I run 110 octane fuel in my car to keep it cool. There are things you can do, but if you want to keep the original look of the car, there is not much you can do. If you are looking for one George Folchi in Connecticut is the man. He rebuilds them as a hobby, complete package w/ oiler ready to go. As far as the engine, it needs to be stock. The supercharger does not work well with a high compression engine. It puts my stock 948cc engine to the power of a 1275cc.
