I got the 525I home last night. Cool. I get up this morning to wash the years of moss that has grown on it and to my surprise it's a 535I.

Now I'm not a beemer expert but what are the differences between the 525I & the 535I.

I'll be posting before and after pics once I get it washed.

Vping, Yer gonna have to bring that down to Watkins Glen on october for the national BMW clubs "Octoberfest". I've been told it's gonna be HUGE! My buddy is into racing BMWs and he's needling me to go up with my car. It oughta be fun.

I'll be looking into that. I have not been up to WG since, since Bill Elliot was running a Coors car. Yikes that was a long time ago.

I saw "Awsom Bill" at the Glen in '86! Stuffed that big ol' Coors car into the Armco big-time at the end of the back straight!!

Wow that's an oldie! I'd like that if you could send me a clear shot of it.

I really don't have a much clearer shot than that...I didn't have a very good camera back then and it was an indoor shot looking out into the sun (and it would be a near impossible task to dig into boxes and find the original negs!!). Got a good bunch of pix from that race though with a lot of the old greats (Tim Richmond, Neal Bonnet, Junior Johnson, etc. etc. ...I was luck to get some GREAT credentials for that race!!)

Neat! Dale's original Wrangler ride, Junior and Neil Bonnet and the King. Nice ones.
