Surprise Find

The other day I was talking to one of my customers who told me of a car at the end of their parking lot that looked just like mine. I may want to inquire about it because as could have some good parts.
Expecting to find an MG or Fiat, I was pleasantly surprised to find a TR6 sitting/sinking in a yard about 1/4 mile away. They have a really long parking lot. We were in the midst of a torrential downpour, and I was rushed for an appointment, so I didn't stop. I'll be back in two weeks.
It appears to be a fairly complete early car. It's missing the top. What isn't rusted appears to be straight.
It's getting hard to find these cars anymore.

A TR6 Spa?

They built a lot of Triumphs... I suspect the majority are still somewhere this side of the crusher if one can find them.

I'm sure the drain plug is not necessary. I'd be interested in this for parts only. I'm guessing it is beyond restoration, as least for me. I have enough projects.
Should things work out and the car is restorable, it will surely be turned or the necessary info will be passed along on the forum.

I ran into a Herald just like that last week, unfortunately, the owner is "planning on restoring it" It was a very early 1200 and other than the fact that it is missing its roof, the body was in surprisingly good condition.
