Installing my new fuel pump on my 80 DHC, i accidently broke a tab off my stock coil. Decided to go ahead and add a Lucas Sport Coil to replace. In my Haynes manual the CEI elec. Ignition isn't even mentioned. There is a ballast resistor below the stock coil on the firewall. Should i A. remove the Ballast resistor(open). B. Remove the resistor and close the circuit(short). C. If not A or B then what? Hoping some other Wedge-Head has been through this. Thanks for the help. Love this Forum.
