Yesterday, I got most of the wires in the back of the car unhooked and ready for removal. Pulled the tail lights and license plate lamp, and labeled everything. Today, its snowing big, so it will be another big garage day. Hope to have the old harness out by dinner time.

Sure is a bitty car! I'm going to pull the seats to give me a little more wiggle room in there. This car makes the TR4 look big!

Good luck Drew! A new wiring harness is on my list of future upgrades to my Bugeye as well, but I've already invested a ton of man-hours in cleaning up the existing PO mess, and since everything works, I'll leave well enough alone for the time being... and keep my fingers crossed!

I've at least got a pretty clean harness to begin with, which is a help. I didn't want to fall into that trap of spending lots of time fixing the old wires. I'm trying to keep the long term view in mind and fix things right the first time. Besides, I shoveled 6"+ inches of snow out of the driveway this morning, so I've got plenty of time right now. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
