Saw this on one of my Facebook feeds today.
"The infamous Church corner at Thruxton claimed two Lotus Cortinas on the first day of the circuit's Easter Revival meeting, both qualifying and race one for the HSCC Historic Touring Car's seeing one of the classic 1960s saloons pitched into a roll at the high-speed bend. Dan Wray's example was the first of the two to be caught out, ending qualifying in this sad condition".
This is an early car which is why the nameplate says Consul (I think they were often called "Consul Cortinas"). Both drivers were OK.
