Here is a progress report and photos.
White car, has the pans POR15 treated and Saturday had the differential mounts welded up. This photo was done by sticking the camera under the car and clicking. I will get better ones when I clean up before paint. Came out well, don't think it will break now.
Red car, Floor pans POR15 treated, new stainless exhaust is in, new teak dash is in, I had to make an oil pressure gauge seal, thanks to this forum, I was aware of the issue and I used a rubberized cork material from the local autoparts store and hollow punches and made a seal. Worked like a treat. I used some packing foam sheet to make a protector while I had the dash in the service position.
We got the door plastic on one door after cleaning and rust protecting.
We took it for a short drive to check the clutch and u-joints, I am sure we looked odd, as we had no seats, but it was fun. Ran just fine. So we started installing the tunnel covers. That was when I remembered I wanted to install the throttle shaft bushing fix and I forgot to put the new J-clip nuts on so we called it a day.
