For those interested, I posted this on other sites as well. Not trying to draw anyone there but figured it was easier to cut and paste the links rather than regurgitate.

Only TD I ever saw with an automatic transmission was owned by Don Noyes from the Albany NY area and it was sighted at the Lebanon Valley Dragstrip. Besides the automatic it also had a radical supercharged Chrysler hemi-engine. This was back in the sixties ! Bob
