Looks like another TR-250 has hit eBay. I'll be very interested to see what the price does. Looks to be an original car. Guess we'll see where this one goes:
Sounds good- 'cept for that "extra", the 8 track cassette that's melted itself to the carpet.... I had to smile at that... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
Someone's going to enjoy that one. The tires look a bit small - I wonder if the speedo 'retooling' was to accommodate for the change in gearing. If so you'd have to figure something out if you wanted to go back to the stock tire size. (Which I would.)
Quite an attractive car, I like the colour.
But it appears to have a ride height problem, especially at the front. The gap between the fender lip and the top of the tyre is VERY big, and it's "motorboating", (high at the Bow).
I spose the correct spring-spacer combination would fix it though.
Simon.
I noticed that as well. I figured it was due to the modern tires, but it does look like she's leaning towards the tail end. Makes me really excited that warm weather is a-comin'.
I think it's mainly the low profile tires. The rear coils might be sagging a bit. I also think the body line shape adds to the appearance of it being low in the back. Or maybe it's all the free stuff in the trunk he's going to give you with it...
Not to state the obvious but if these cars are really selling for this kind of money ($27,000 and change) we'll be seeing more TR250's than you can shake a stick at coming on to E-Bay.
Can the 'clones' be far behind?
Nice car, might have a look at this one. I thinks it's at a good price right now, so I'll wait a little and see if it goes crazy. I did see what I think is a overdrive switch, that will help. Wayne

I wasn't sure if there was overdrive or not, but the price seems much more sane than the prior eBay sale.
Saw it when it first hit ebay, seems like a nice enough car. I looked at one in Huntsville, Al on Sunday. Owner said it was solid and had good interior. I would throw 3 of the 4 fenders away and nothing in the interior was original. Car was restorable but owner was way to high on price, so ebay is driving prices up.
