Thought I'd share these of my first legal day on the road. Very Happy with her and looking forward to finishing the interior over the winter after a summer of driving and events.

Thanks, the interior isn't finished yet but is all red too. I'm having the wheels refinished in dark red as well. My neighbour has an original 289 Cobra with a red body black interior and black wheels. They'll look great next to each other.

Beautiful. Interesting how those "roundels" (fancy word for white circles) and the removal of the bumpers give it a really aggressive, competition car look. And I've always liked the ridged bonnets and was sorry they dropped that feature.

I see you have the "TOW" points clearly labeled; do you plan to take the car racing?

Hi yes I do as a participant not a competitor, I know I'm not fast but I love being part of something and the history of weekend competition behind British sports cars.

I agree perseverance is a necessity in car restoration, This one has only taken 18 months of spare time , the last took 12 years..........and make sure you have a vision of what you want.
