hello
this is a 69 mk3 spitfire and when you put the tranny in gear the shifter still moves around kinda like its in neutral.seems tome looking at the shift rod that there is a bushing or something missing at the point where it hooks up to the rod coming out of the tranny.i have searched around and cant find anything except something called an anti rattle kit. the anti rattle kit doesnt seem to have anything for the forward most connection in the linkage.
when i put it in gear and look at the linkage the portion going into the tranny is solid and not where the movement is,its the first connection off of the tranny.
i can take pics if that would help out.
