Hi All,
The other day on my monthly Healey exercise, the rear leaf springsqueaking seemed louder then usual before realizing the top was up. A long while back, I followed a friend’sadvice and inserted shim stainless strips between each leaf. However, the stainless stock has never seemedto quiet the springs.
Originally each leaf was separated by galvanized strips thatseemed to perform before the surface coating wore through and the underlyingmetal began to rust. Although galvanizedstrips are still an option, I would like to know what others have used to quietnoisy rear leaf springs.
Happy Holidays to All,
Ray (64BJ8P1)
