Yesterday I wanted to run a errand or two, pretty day so I decide to get the 68 XKE OTS out for a drive. It cranks right up, got a mile down the road and remembered I better have my cell phone. Go back home and get it. Now the the E won't crank. It turns over good, plenty of gas, has electronic ignition. I think no power to the distributor. I run a wire from battery to coil. Cranks right up. Yep, the fuse holder is corroded again. Clean the fuse holder up and I am in business again. I restored this car about 10 years ago. Everything was redone but the fuseholders. Really don't want to put after market holders in but who's going to see them and car will be more reliable. Who else has changed their fuse holders.
