All:

Just sending out a reminder that the VRG New Jersey Historics at New Jersey Motorsports Park is next weekend (Sept 19-21).

If you need a reason to attend here are some great excuses:
---------------------------------
*It's convenient to many racers in the northeast USA!*
NJMP is centrally located and is a very reasonable tow for most northeast vintage racers.
---------------------------------
*It's easy!*
If you have not yet registered, click on the link below and use the paper or online registration link under "September 19-21"

https://www.vrgonline.org/events/
---------------------------------
*All the Kool Kids will be there!*
Don't believe me? Check out this link

~Entry List~
---------------------------------
*It's educational!*
The Millville Army Air Field Museum is nearby and VRG will be having their Saturday night meal at the museum. While you're there, you can wander through the museum with old friends and check out all the neat displays.

*It's near The Shore!*
September is a really nice time to go to the Cape May area of the NJ Shore (especially if you're retired). The ocean water temps in September are surprisingly mild. And most of those annoying tourists have gone home. winking smiley
The restaurants (many with great seafood) aren't so crowded. Plus the hotel rates are dramatically lower (and most have plenty of extra parking if you need to bring along your race trailer).
Check out this calendar for more info about the southern area of the NJ Shore in September.

Also, Race Chair Butch O'Conner is promising to make his "special beer" available......:encouragement:

If you can't race, this is also a spectator event. I think it's only about $12 for a ticket (check with NJMP to be sure).

I can attest to the Kool Kids being there, as Dad and I are attending! The one-day ticket is $12 and a weekend ticket is $17. Pretty reasonable if you ask me, since you can see vintage cars, bikes, AND planes all at once!

Great time!

And no real incidents or excessive yellow flags like certain other events run by other organizations.
Maybe we just attract a better crowd. :friendly_wink:
