I briefly thought about historic plates, since the BMV here said it was eligible for them. Unfortunately the law says you can only drive to car shows, but I know some folks who define "car show" a little loosely. Collector plates were the next alternative, but somehow that requires the blessing of the folks in Columbus. Somehow a '77 Midget shows up in the list of historic vehicles, but not collector vehicles. So, for now I just have the no-frills standard plates on it. My ham radio plates on the other car are expensive enough!
