I got some great news yesterday that I thought I'd pass along:
She passed! Woohoo!
When I got her, the inspection sticker on the window was from 1997, and she was in really rough shape. After 3 years of weekend wrenching, she's finally street legal. She's not exactly pretty...rust, dents, flat paint, no carpet in the interior, but it's great to be able to take her out and not have to worry about the fuzz
She was inspected yesterday, and today I took her up to Peddler's Village in Lahaska PA for Brits at the Village. I actually stepped up my wrenching about a week ago when I found out the Midget was the featured marquee...it sounded like fate to me!
It's been a whirlwind week, and I'm sunburnt from all the driving today, but it was an absolutely amazing payoff for all the long nights, four letter words, and head-shaking from my fiancee (she rode along today to the show and had a great time as well).
Add another Midget to the "back on the road" tally!
