First, thank you in advance or any help! Been 8 years or so on this full restoration and we are almost ready to turn the engine over. 59 Austin Healey 100/6 BN4. somewhere along the project, I mis-placed what I believe is the "driving dog" that goes between the distributor (at the base) and the actual gear. My more experienced expert that is helping me with this step pointed out my missing part.
I don't know how to describe it and I cannot find a good picture. Again, Moss describes it as the driving dog. Which, is what I am looking for as I may have it.......there is a pic in Moss that shows it, however, it is small and I cannot see the details (old eyes). if I cannot find it in my "carefully organized" remaining parts, I am worried that it is not available. Please help me get to the next step in this long project.
