Gentlemen:
I have a question regarding the wiper motor on my 1960 BE:
- The motor works. However, when we insert the cable that runs the drive that rotates the wipers we can't get the lid exactly back on the wiper motor. If we do bolt down the lid everything seems to fit just a bit to tight and the motor binds up. We then loosened the bolts about 1/4 inch, which in turn loosened the lid, and everything runs okay.
Should the lid have a gasket on it? Should there be washers between the lid and the housing to create a little space? Or are we just hooking it up all wrong?
Thanks
Mike Pennell
