Good morning all triumph owners. I have recently joined this forum after coming across it using Google. There is a wealth of info here, I,ve spent hours browsing and only just begun.........
I bought a TR6 in 1995 and restored it soon after. I have done little to it since, so a general tidy up is required. The car was assembled in Adelaide in the Leyland factory in 1974 and is the Injected model. A bonus is the indicator lever is on the correct side of the steering column (for us Ozzies). Included is a pic of the car as it is currently, and a pic of the timber door rail I made from solid Beech to replace the standard vinyl one. I also replaced the 'cardboard' door panel with a more sturdy MDF one I made using the original as a template. I re-stapled the original vinyl to the new panel as it is in good condition.
A couple of questions: my glass winders are worn, has anyone tried electric winders successfully? Also has anyone tried electric door locking?
