HI Jaybird, I see you say you loosened the clamps.Perhaps the one at the hose end you are trying to remove has not been loosened enough.loosen it enough to slide it down the hose and repeat the screwdriver all around the neck bit once more and see if it does not come off.--Fwiw--Keoke
