Looking great! This is one of the fastest restorations I've followed on the net, and one of the more meticulous as well... I bet you are having a rough time refraining from rushing the last few steps! Can't wait for the picture of you driving out of the garage... Great work.

Looks great, Jerry. I'm also restoring a "75 MGB, but don't think as thorough as yours. I have been in the process for a couple of years having painted the engine bay but it now looks like it could use another coat of paint. I should put photos up but it is no comparison to your photo log.

It is so cool to see Jerry's project ooming along so beautifully. My son wanted to take our project out in the backyard today just to be sure it would run. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif (he'll turn 16 next month) I took a quick video clip of him running it around but the car is in piece and am not sure I should post the clip to the internet??? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Up until the past few weeks, all I could do was visit the car and take pictures of the progress, but lately I've been in the shop, helping to get the job done. It's a good feeling to know that I'm doing more than signing the checks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hiya All!

Progress abounds!

My car is running,..it hasn't moved yet,..but I heard it run.

What a beautiful sound! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Everything, except for the seats has been installed into the interior.

I've even wired in the new stereo,..opting to put the speakers in the under-dash panels,..great sound /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

We did the rear brakes today.

I have some things going on over the next 2 weeks, so it's looking like I'm gonna have to let her sit in the shop for a bit. (Mom's having surgery next week and I leave for a short vacation the week after)
But, I will be driving by the first week of June,..if it kills me! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Looking killer. I can't wait to start the work on mine. Just ordered a grill for mine and the morspeed bumpers should have arrived or close to it and the body work should start in early June.

Question for you what exhaust manifold are you using. Is it an old stock that’s been painted or another brand?

Stereo and speakers are in and working. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just some adjustments (and payments...lol), and I'll be on the road by the end of next week. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

No pictures yet,..but I'll have some by Weds,..when I stop by the shop with the last hose that needs installing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
