We've gone from the windshield shop to the bodyshop. Body's coming along great, ready for paint,..and....

My mechanic was shocked when I called him, and was laughing today.

Timeframe,...hmm,..bodyshop will be done by Thursday,..then back to the mechanic, then the glass shop,..I'd say April. lol

I'm gearing up for a bunch of parties on my boss' yacht.

Every year, forth of July week, we do ten dinner sails out of Boston Harbor. They're great fun.
A bit more work, but a bit more enjoyment.

So, starting Weds, I do dinner for 30 each night. It's cool, especially since I have NO BUDGET, so I can do all the foo-foo food I want. Caviar, foie gras, truffles and the like.

I'll barely even notice that the car is in the shop(s). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We had a phenomenal time at the wedding! It was absolutely perfect! And exquisite food & a cheesecake wedding cake (8 different varieties).

The dinner sails sound awesome! And carte blanche - what more could a chef ask for!? Whatcha cookin'? Typical 4th of July fare, bbq pork steaks, baked beans? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif You'll have to post all about it. (so my stomach can live vicariously through you!)

Keeping my fingers crossed that my friend makes it through customs tomorrow (he's smuggling summer truffles from his family's farm in Italy,..heeheehee)

For the rest of the year at my job, I'm either cooking for the kids, or for parties of 100+,...so these little parties give me a chance to try to really WOW people. I love the challenge /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

OK,..so I've been kind of aloof lately,..working and playing,..and best of all driving my lil car with a windshield, inspection sticker and properly modified insurance. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm sure jaybird thinks I'm delaying,..but I'm not,..I've been without my camera for a few weeks,..lent it to my sis for her family vacation.
