Did you freeze you brain? Thats cold....When i lived in the north i would also hit the streets with the top down in that temp. I was also younger and the cold did not bother me as much. Enjoy your early spring. Bob

It was a great 60 miles of fun however it was only a brief repreve from winter and its back to normal sub zero monday. Going to drive the car again tomarrow and maybe on monday till it cools off enough to freeze up the roads so I can wash the car and put it back in storage till next time.

My car is in storage being winterized. So even if it gets to a decent temperature outside, it would only be worth it to me if it was near winters end. My opinion of course...
I take off the air cleaners and rap the carbs in cellophane so moisture doesnt get to them. I also shoot marine spray in both carbs and in each cylinder. I would hate to have to redo that every time I wanted to go out and freeze my brain for an hour or two. Again, my opinon of course...

It would seem to me that unless it rains in the garage, or the garage is heated and cooled, the car and componets would assume the ambient temperature and therefore, no condensation would form to cause a build up of moisture in the carbs. The marine spray is probably a good idea, but I wouldn't wrap the carbs.

Stewart,
By an odd coincidence it was 42 here as well...42 C (about 107 F) and just a little too hot for top down motoring.

I am waiting for Autumn (fall) to arrive.

Cheers , Pete.
