WOW! I just found Rick Patton's EFI conversion for the HS6. :banana: If it is compatible with a boosted HIF44 then I am home free!!
My biggest concern with using the MG Metro Turbo setup was the 20+ year old blow-through carburetor. If I can convert that to EFI with fully programable fuel and spark maps... heehee I'm giddy with excitement!!! I've already got a spark controller with a 36-1 crank trigger on the way but I'm looking at the MegaSquirt II for an ignition AND EFI controller instead. The OMEX box I have coming only controls spark so I may have to trade that out for the MegaSquirt but that is no big deal. I was already planning to go to an EDIS-4 Ford style Distributorless ignition which should work with either system. Now with EFI (TBI to be exact) I don't have to worry about vacuum leaks or running so lean that I burn the pistons on my fresh rebuild!!! Hehe!!! I'm just waiting to hear back to know whether or not his TBI is truly compatible with my project. I'm seriously checking my email every 20 minutes to see if he has responded. (I think he even cruises around the BCF if I'm not mistaken). :laugh: The anticipation is unbearable!
