Does anyone recognise this car?

Does anyone recognise this car? The photo was taken in 1927 so presumably the car was built early/mid 1920's. I've found car's similar to this but nothing that is an exact match - possibilities include Singer or a Clyno or, less likely, a Talbert or Jowett.
Thanks.

Engine cover louvers do not seem right for a 12/4.

I'm thinking a Humber, number of wheel spokes is right, number of "lug nuts" is right, cowl shape and cowl lights are right, frame-mounted headlamps for 1920 and earlier are right.

Morris Cowley has same bonnet louvers...except half are in the cowl. Right number of "spokes", but not enough "lug nuts".

All I'm attempting is to get close.
Here is a 1926 with Artillery wheels.
https://images.ookaboo.com/photo/m/Humber_9_20_1926_m.jpg
Notice number of "spokes", and number of "lug nuts". Notice wing shape, low headlamps, things like that.
I have found vehicles from this vintage with NO headlamps, high-mount, medium-mount, and low-mount. Not sure if it's aftermarket or factory option.
1920 here:
https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C225887
Here, bottom photo if the link is only to the page, note no wing lamps, very low headlamps, and the crease to match the radiator shell, which you can see in the photo you provided:
https://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/classic-car-images/humber/tourer.jpg
Look at this series, especially the bottom photo, which has the same paraphenalia on the running board as your photo:
https://www.31mersey.freeserve.co.uk/humber.htm

Not sure on the bonnet, not sure if aftermarket, or one model in one year, but it's looking like we're getting closer.

Looks like you are really close (Humber 15.9) but I've tried and failed to resolve the bonnet issue.

One of the principal points of distinction between British Marques was the radiator, and the car shown doesn't have a Humber radiator. Clyno or Austin at first look, though it might also be a Calthorpe.

Looks to me like a Sunbeam radiator. '23ish Sunbeam 12 maybe.

From that one side-view, I cannot see the radiator shape, but I can see the side of the bonnet, which looks like it curves to a Humber shape. I find no 20's Sunbeams with low headlamps, either.

The Humber shape was multi-sided, and from the picture, though not head-on, you can see that the visible matrix part of the radiator has vertical sides and a horizontal top. Humbers don't. You can also see that the cowl (radiator cowl, not scuttle) has a curved top.

I agree Sunbeam is another choice, but that reminded me of yet another - it might well be an Alvis. It would be a 12/40, I think, because later ones have wire wheels.
How about this one?

It's frustrating not to be able to identify, as I once could, cars which were reasonably commonplace when I was a boy!

The closest match i've found so far is the Sunbeam 3.0 Litre 2 door touring convertible with dickie seats but again, it's not exactly the same.
