Some of the solutions, like this one involving gaining more clearance on the shroud cross brace to fit an electric cooling motor are quite elegant:
OTOH, we have me, who also needed to move the cross brace to fit an extra cooling fan. First instinct was to use a BFH, that's how they made the Sunbeam Tiger, right? I, too, however hit upon an "elegant" solution:
Note the clever use of my old Fiat 124 Spider scissors jack to make the necessary clearance. And I didn't even have to cut up any Healey sheetmetal.
