It is time for me to part ways with my beloved Midget. I bought it around 1980 and although I still love driving it, its time to start downsizing, :highly_amused: (can't get much smaller than a Midget).
About 1000 miles on professional engine rebuild, weber carb just rebuilt, recent windscreen & rubber, kingpins, etc, etc, etc. Some rust, needs new paint, last painted about 1984. New tires and battery. $4200
I forgot to mention, newly tuned, new water pump and bypass hose this spring. Also recently replaced the u-joint, fuel lines in trunk, horns, sending unit. Clutch was replaced with engine rebuild. Yesterday, I changed the oil and greased the front end. Put the top down this morning and took it for a spin before it got hot, and it was an amazing drive. No problems at 60 mph. then gassed up with ethanol free gas. See photos below, oil pressure good, fuel gauge works. Dash could be replaced, but not necessary to feel the wind in the little hair remaining on my head.
