Don't worry boys, I just checked the video version, the fender spears are attached correctly, this is no prop! I don't think his girlfriend is a prop either! But I think the front badge and the guys tie are after market items from the usual suspects!

Dang I need to improve my driving wardrobe, maybe a 1950's scarf instead of the "don't hit me" orange cap. The boyfriend is usually in the passenger seat.

My fender spears are on wrong (to be fixed when fenders come off for paint)!

Why yes... the spears aren't the only thing "wrong"... a SBC 400 and Ford 9" rear amongst other things. She really scoots. A 20 year slumber in a heated barn. I needed to only clean out the mouse poop and get a buddy to do a heavy service and she started right up. I've been driving the car for about a year learning about "Hundreds" and devising plans on how to improve what is already a really fun car. The big pipes might get swapped for something a bit daintier. I might even try and track down the original drive train (I think it's in the Netherlands) but it's so much fun with the V8 I can't imagine swapping. Oh and it's a dude magnet; guys swing around looking for the muscle car and see me in my little British sports car. It's fun.

Looking good! Why after seeing that picture do I suddenly have a beer craving... Most Interesting Man in the World...

  1. When he drives a car off the lot, its price increases in value
  2. Once a rattlesnake bit him, after 5 days of excruciating pain, the snake finally died (I'm sure it was a Shelby Cobra)
