TR4/4A Who is running Good Parts front springs on their TR4a? I have a ride height question.

Hi guys - I want to bring the ride height down on the front of my TR4a and I know some people have used the Good Parts TR6 springs. Any pictures on where that put your front suspension? Any tips or coaching having been there and done that?

Been there and done that, send me your e-mail address and I'll send some photos. Keep in mind that you will need to find a way to get the correct negative camber once you lower the front (or back for that matter) and in the case of the front you need to adjust the upper A-Arms somehow to get the correct alignment. If you do the rear (and you should or you'll end up with significant California rake) GoodParts adjustable brackets will be needed too. As a suggestion it will be a good time to convert to the TR6 lower front frame brackets with 2 studs instead of the 4A single stud pieces. Use the backup plates too for extra protection.

As for the upper A-Arms I have a source for modified / adjustable units on an exchange basis but they're not inexpensive ($350 to $400 bucks). Do some research and you may find alternate methods. BUT it must be done in order to get correct alignment and avoid excessive negative camber.
