There is no good step by step rebuild for the ribcase that I have ever seen.
The Haynes is contradictory on some items and is'nt worth squat for the trans.
The green factory shop maual isn't much better. a combination of the two tho...and taking pictures and a lot of notes on dis-assembly you can get by. BUT only if the trans is a virgin or has been done properly by a p.o.
They do not show ball, spring and peg locations and some critical dimensions.
The best I've seen is an Auto Press manual or a Bently manual for exploded views.

Balls, pegs, springs, selective washers, needle bearing/cages, bearings. If it has had hard use or someone tried to bang some gears the shift forks might be done for.
