Hello
I'm currently restoring a 64 TR4 which has the deep dish springs at the rear and the blocks between the spring and the rear axle. I'm wanting to uprate and lower the suspension and I am therefore considering changing over the rear to the early lowered spring by purchasing a new set of plates, u-bolts etc as per the earlier TR4. Has anyone on the forum done this before? Are there any pitfalls? Does anyone know where I can buy these springs in the US (apart from Moss who are currently out of stock)?
Another quick question - the powder coaters have powder coating the bearing surface on the front suspension pins on the frame. Does anyone know the best way to remove powder coat without damaging the underlying bearing surface?
Thanks for your help.
Myles
