Pressure Plate Stuck?

I went to drive my 1959 3000 last week. I headed up the driveway, and while waiting for the garage door to shut, the engine died. I restarted it, put it in gear, let the clutch out, and it would not move. I can shift it into any gear with the engine running and the clutch in, but when I release the clutch, nothing.

I have never heard of a pressure plate locking up. I have 20,000 miles on both the pressure plate and clutch.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

How about the clutch flex hose being seriously blocked, big time?

Are you sure the shifter is engaged? Is it truly in gear?

Sounds like the line to the slave is soft and closing up, keeping the clutch disengaged, allowing you to shift but never allowing the pressure plate to engage when you no longer step on the pedal. You can open the bleeder, or crack the line somewhere and see what happens.
