Does anyone know the supplier of the attached mirrors? The pictures were taken of two BJ's that attended the Healey International Weekend at Ashborne Hill Conference Centre courtesy of Healey Marque magazine, Jan.07 issue(hope I don't get sent off to copyrighting jail?)I recently purchased something similar through A.H. Spares but I'm not convinced that's what I want! Sorry for the clarity of the pictures but I ended up taking a picture of a picture.

Holden in the UK sells several variations of these mirrors. I have found Holden to have an excellent selection of all their accessories, probably the best in the LBC business:

https://www.holden.co.uk/viewProducts.asp...rrors&group=092

I bought the first on one this list from Holden - it is Stainless Steel and very nice quality.

thanks, if I understand you correctly you are saying that the Harley mirror has a round post of length, configuration, and diameter such that it will easily/securly fit into the sidescreen post hole in my door? I do rather like those clamp-on mirrors, but as the sidescreen cars lack a vent window I'm just not sure what/where it clamps to.

Thanks for the link! You wouldn't happen to be able to post a picture of how your mirror is mounted would you? Something as simple as this and I fear I've already mounted it incorrect.

Jack Laird, over in the Spridget bunch, used a harley mirror on his bugeye. At a whopping $13+ it might be worth a try. He has a picture of it on his website.

Thanks Roger and Russ

Roger - I think I figured it out and attached my quarterlight mirrors to my vent windows. Sometimes something so simple can put my brain into overtime. The mirrors I posted still puzzle me in regards to attachment. Russ was kind enough to provide a link to what I think are a very, very similar product. Can either of you tell me how those are attached? In particular MQB4. The ones I purchased are MQT1 and if I had seen the Tex site I might have purchased MQB4. Oh! What the heck I still might!

On my ;78 Midget I just put on what I believe is MQT5 from the Tex Automotive site.
I discarded the screws that came with them and simply flattened the U-bracket until it fit snugly onto my quarter light window-channel and still let me wind my window up without ant scraping.
Hammered them on and they fit solidly and don't shake at all.

Yes, DT, I beleive they clamp onto the vent glass.
I have not installed mine yet. Tomorrow I'll post a photo.
I got mine from Healey Surgeons in Maryland. Rectangle design. MQT1

Hey Money; It would be best to check with Tex, I have there spring loaded fender mirrors on my TR3. I haven't seen too many cars with these!

If you have a sidescreen car just get a harley mirror and put it in your sidescreen post.

If you have a BN1 or BN2 then you can also get a mirror from cape international that screws into the windshield side post thumb nut.

Thanks for reaffirming I'm not to much of nimble brain! I've mounted mine a little higher on the window. Not sure if I'll keep it at that height or not. Obscuring my vision would be the only concern.
