Newbie to the group,found you googling Cosworth BDA. When I had the TR-250 36 years ago,I went to the dealer that was in northeast Detroit around Harper Woods. This was up around Morang,Moross near Grosse Pointe. Pecar's was in the same neighborhood. I've been looking on the net at the Ruins of Detroit photos and they have one of an abandoned gas station that I had the Deja vu moment about. Caption said it was somewhere on Harper Ave.If I did it right, the picture should be in the link. I seem to remember either the new car showroom or the parts department was in the part to the right. I was hoping one of you might remember it. There was another dealer on Gratiot a lot closer to downtown that I used as well, anyone remember that one? Hard to believe that the Motor Capital of the World doesn't have ONE new car dealer in the city limits today. Somehow I don't think the Superbowl is going to make much difference in the short term. Or long term,what with GM and Ford approaching room temperature. Sad. Thanks, Ken

I'm originally from Detroit also, (7 mile and Hoover). It's sad to look at the 'Fabulous Ruin's of Detroit" web site. She was a proud city once.....I don't think there is much hope for Detroit to ever return. It's sad with all the history in the area......
