John Gunnell, the book editor of Krause Publications, was zipping by in his TF as I was headed out to lunch...he picked me up and we headed to our local Subway....

We had a nice lunch. Talked SU carburetors, TR2 bumpers, having your car in the movies, etc. Fun lunch. He bought.

I even enjoyed the ride...

It was nice to know my lardass still fits in a TF...

John Gunnell is a well known author who has written dozens of automotive books (including the Catalog of British Cars)

He has a TF, a TD and a Magnette. He also has about four vintage Pontiacs. A great guy to know.
