Hudson Metropolitan - I never knew!

Came across this auction that contains a Hudson branded LBC - the Metropolitan. I had no idea that they came over with the Hudson brand. Interesting.

Yes, the Metropolitan was also badged a Hudson (like a Neon was offered by both Dodge and Plymouth) in 1955 and 1956 (and almost all '56 Metros were Hudson badged.) The idea was to help Hudson's falling sales numbers. It didn't really work, as Hudson production stopped after 1957.
