On the left side, from the relay box to the two clips just behind the top of the grille opening, where does the wire harness go?
Does is just sort of droop down over the top of the steering box and come up in front of the fresh air vent screen behind the left horn?
And what about all the extra wire. Seems the headlight pigtails are a bit long. Is this for some purpose? Is there a "correct" way this stuff gets tied and tucked out of the way?
Also, on the harness about where the OD relay is mounted, there is a white wire with a blade clip terminal. I cannot find a home for it. Does anyone know where this goes? It looks like it wants to go on the W1 OD relay connector. But I think that is supposed to take a ground wire according to the schematic. And the ground wires are black. Can someone more experienced with the meaning of the diagram symbols verfy this for me.
Every time I hook the battery up, all this smoke comes out. (Just kidding. I'm not about to connect power until I have this straight).
And one other bit. The harness did not have provision for the thermo actuated cold start solenoid circuit. It should be no problem to tuck a wire in behind everything. Am I correct that this remains hot all the while the the ignition circuit is hot? If so, it seems easy enough to tap into off the fuse block.
