Lots of things you can try. The two that have been most effective for me are to file a small bevel on the leading edge of the friction material; or put an aluminum shim between the pad and the piston. I found the aluminum shims in the "Help!" section at FLAPS. Looks like they have been discontinued, but RockAuto says they have one set in stock (and will ship to Canada) :

There is a layer of adhesive on the back, to hold them while installing. Once in place, they're held by the caliper piston. Also, you cut them to fit with scissors. The aluminum is thin and soft, so they're easy to cut.
