European Trip

I'm wrapping things up this & next week in preparation for my upcoming European trip May 27th through June 28th....unfortunately, Europe isn't as well connected into the internet as the US or the Far East & I'm finding there will be places where I can't get on-line (for example: the Holiday Inn Express where I'm staying 3 nights is wifi but the little 4-star hotel in Weiden, Germany where I'm staying 2 weeks isn't)....

....so, if you think you'll need anything during that time, we need to process your order this week.

....& as I can, I'll check my mail & check in on the BBS.

Tony - If you need someone to carry your luggage, I volunteer /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Regarding internet access, When we were in England three years ago, we went to local libraries or internet cafes and paid a pound or two to up to an hour of on line time. We also found that owners of bed and breakfasts would let us use their computers to check out e-mail.
Cheers

Dont need parts, but wish me luck.

I'm off to London next week with wife and rugrats in tow (the smallest of which has a broken leg and is on crutches).

Wife got some rube goldburg looking contraption to cart her around with, sort of like an umbrella stroller hooked up with a Ducatti and this was the result...

Well, I guarantee I'm not gonna do as many cities as they have planned on their tour.

May I inquire as to where?

Reason is if you have not been there, and are into admiring scenery recommend visiting the Rothiemurchis estate.

When I was there in 96 we took two weeks to do Edinburgh(the Tatoo), up the coast to Aberdeen over the Grampians and down into Inverness(too briefly) down to the Clan MacPherson 50th in Newtonmore. Down the Great Glen, Oban, etc.

I prefer the Highlands.

Yes you may.
We will be touring from Edinburgh to Inverness, then out to the Islands of Lewis,Harris and Skye.Through Fort William to Loch Lomond,Ayr,Dumfries and the Border Abbeys and back to Glasgow.
I too prefer the Highlands, but am a Borderer by birth and like that area too.

Ah, then you'll probably be going up by Aviemore, which is close to the Estate and Loch an Eilean. Do stop if you can, you won't regret it.

And enjoy!
