My trip to the salvage yard.

Stopped by the junk yard this morning and went on a search for a mg midget. Turns out they did have a 75 mg midget and the body was in pretty good condition, no big rust spots or anything. Cant tell much about the engine tho. Anyways they are going to crush the car in about 3 weeks :frown: and they wont let me buy the whole car. I can only have what i can take off. :frown: So im trying to snatch what ever i can off of it that i could possibly use. So far im getting the rear tail light assembly for $6 a piece and possibly the gauges for $10 per gauge.

I have a 72 midget, what else could i possibly use off of this 75 midget that would be worth wild. And if anyone really wants something i can check the price and possibly work something out.

Those pictures are of an MGB, not a Midget. Does look like a clean body, shame they won't let it all go.

Iv never seen an MGB so I couldn't tell the difference but ok. Also means that they have it miss labeled.

Could I still use the rear lights and gauges from it

Well currently I don't have enough to do that. I would if I could, but right now I can't. I might get the bumpers, window frame and maybe the doors or fenders, but if I do it will be later.

Rather than go for big heavy body parts, why not take all the lights guages gas cap window winders etc. Bring the yard a boxfull and make a deal
I;ll bet you do just as well selling directional stalks as selling rubber bumpers. A lot less hasle

I wasn't planning on using the bumpers on my car. I have the metal bumpers on my car
