Here is the result of my push fuel pump installation using an SU AUF 301, ahead of the rear axle. I got the correct mounting bracket from a kind gentleman I met at the Euro Auto Fest in 2007, but I know a purist will tell me the AUF 301 was never fitted to any Spridget.
My excuse is that the transplanted 1275cc engine deleted the mechanical pump that was fitted to the original 948cc Bugeye engine, so something clearly had to be done. I had a Facet pump for a while, but it made me ill listening to it.
This one was overhauled by Dave Dubois and converted from positive earth to negative earth.
