I got mine off eBay. The jury is still out on how well I like it.

I've always wondered about those things. From what I have read they just might be a whole lot of bang for the buck. It would make sense to me to have two of them though and stick them in #1 and #4 holes. That would help in the carb mixture balancing department. I bought one of those small English CO testing machines, don't remember the name, not long ago and although I had read enough to convince me that it might be of some value I was not impressed. I just wanted something that I could use "on board with the car running down the road" but I ended up dropping it in the trash can and going back to my Sun gas analyser/scope machine. You can't put it in the passenger's seat but you can't beat it for accuracy either. I would be interested in any feedback on the colortune though. Please post back as experiences are available. Bhive has the best price on a new Colortune that I have found. I can't say that the Colortune helped me any. But I think that has more to do with the crappiness of my carb.

Anyway, the bhive link is https://bhive.tierranet.com/

My car will soon have a wide band O2 sensor (as well as fuel injection) so my Colortune will likely be forsale in the clasified section here in the near future.

This was brought up a while back in another thread, IIRC. Jack, you're right: Two is better'n one... I've had a pair for years, and when setting up a client's dual carbs it really cuts down on the "faffin' about" jugglin' one unit back-and-forth. Usin' 'em in broad daylight is a pain but they work great otherwise.... still a pishah with a Jag V-12, tho /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

For those who bring up the carbon "buildup" issue: I clean mine with mineral spirits and Q-tips. Worked with the same ones professionally for years. Oh, and the little tube/reflector thingies are basically useless IMHO...
