BJ8 Glove Box Lock?

Does anyone know if the glove box lock for the BJ8 is available? I have never been been able to find one or parts for one. Is there a schematic of the lock available so that parts could be made? I am missing the internal parts on mine.

67bj8, i just checked moss motors they dont have them, others may, ive seen them on ebay every now and then, kinda pricy though. good luck.

It is the same lock as in a Metropolitan. If you search the web for Metropolitan, you will find a parts web site and they often have the glove box locks. One of the english suppliers had them advertised also. AH Spares, or Cape International. It won't be cheap!

try not to get riped off i was able to get one for 80 .00 and it works great the guy from british keys has one he wanted 150 i think lok on craigs list there was a guy from atlanta who was parting out cars he might have one good luck it took me 2 years to find one
