Better to be lucky then good!!

I've been wresting w/ the removal of my BE's 1/4 elliptical rear springs. Lots of soaking and tapping and waiting. Well 3 of the 4 bolts came out w/o a hitch. The 4th sheared off at the head. After lots of thought and trying anything to avoid drilling I played with thought of rotating the spring assembly. I dug out tons of dirt/rust and who knows what to make as much room as possible and then placed a bar through the end of the spring and strated to rotate clockwise. After some wiggling, twisting and a break for a cold one, the spring rotated in the box and came out w/o any issue. I could then place the spring on the bench and work to remove the stuck bolt. All ended well and saved me quite a bit of time.
Anyone have a recommendation on a reputable source to refurbish the springs?

Thanks Jack,
I'll have at it myself. Any tips on what to avoid and/or do?

Make sure you can find new clamps for the springs. Shop that services small boat trailers could likely help.

The small clamps that go around the springs are unobtainum as mentioned.
