Winter sucks

It was warm here this morning when I went out for errands at 7:00AM. It was +1 F at that time and I think that it's up to +8 right now. So, relatively speaking, we're having a heat wave compared to Mike.

Al Gore is an idiot and he should stay in whatever hole he's been hiding in for the past ten months.

Well, it looks like I have another opportunity to start whining and complaining again. The snow is coming down pretty hard once again and we should have 8-12" by mid morning tomorrow.

Once again.....winter really does suck this year.

You have to admit it is pretty.

That's the email I got from BCF, containing your post.

Why did I get an email?

Because I find emails easier to read than forum posts.

Tom,

I think that we're getting there. This is as of 7:30AM and I'm hoping that it finally stopped.

Paul,
There is one good thing in all of this snow you are having. There will be little or no frost in the ground so as Spring arrives the snow will melt from underneath and the melt water will tend to go into the ground instead of becoming so much runoff. The transformation from snow to green will happen in a relative short time ant there will be little if any "mud" season.
